TMSI

2 photos that i took when I went to St. John's TMSI ( Tropical Marine Science Institute ) I like the shrimp residing in the anemone. Over there, many knobby sea stars are being studied on too.. A pity that I haven't uploaded the pics into the com and my phone has already gone for servicing.. gone...

Bet not many ppl know what's in the pic. Looks like some clam or shellfish... It's actually a Giant Clam which is roughly 1-2yrs old only. Giant clams grow rather slowly during the first few yrs before expanding during the 5-7th yr. The usual big one that you see during diving which is about 60-70cm wide is around that age le.
