On sun, took part in the SMRT challenge, trying to defend our title. The game this year is different from last yr. Format has changed, and thus, we can't execute our winning formula. It's being simplified to an extent that I feel winning or losing is down to a word.. LUCK.

The first clue was given 15mins before flag off, might as well just tell us where is it. It doesn't separate those teams that can think fast and move out fast. Then 2 locations were given, unlike last yr where the boundary was not set, this yr, the boundary is set within 11 stations. Khatib and Bukit Batok. With this, how wrong can teams go? My team made a major mistake, that was to proceed Bukit Batok and work backwards.. And that virtually caused us our game. Cos due to the simplicity of the game and the boundary set, there's no way we can crawl back the time we lost. no physical advantage as well, since it's all IN the MRT station compounds. Sad case.. Lost the chance to defend our title we won with ease last yr. and there goes my $500. Well.. It's a learning lesson this yr. And we'll definitely be back next yr to fight for it. Anyway, Meng's instinct cannot be trusted.. Kenneth's and mine are better.. Follow us..

In the evening, went to Changi's Charlie's corner with dear to have our dinner. Have heard abt the place for sometime le, but yet to try it. Finally got to try it yesterday. The fish and chip was so-so only. was expecting better.. The sausage platter was quite decent. With the price that it comes along, no Service Charge, no GST, I think it's pretty good. Anyway, I like the quiet environment there. I think I'll head back there again to try their caesar salad.

Studied at home whole day today, cos of a graded tutorial tomorrow.. RAWR~! why lecturer want to torture us like that. tiny little % that looks insignificant, but cannot afford to totally give it up.. A bit not here not there.. KNS...
