Busy Sunday

Went for Tuition in the morning at Clementi, If not because my kid is having exam next week, and I'm driving there, I won't bother going all the way there on a lovely Sunday morning. Thereafter, Went to take something from Mindy at Balestier Rd, before heading back to NUS.

Realised that there wasn't food available in the canteens, no choice but to go to Fong Xing for Lunch. Quite happy with it though, cos the Cheese prata was good. Coupled with an egg and a plain, 3 pratas in all, to fill up my grumbling empty stomach..... Yum yum...

Met with my Pool Kakis to study in Central library. It was a worthwhile trip. Environment was conducive, and I was productive.. lolx. Bet if I came home after tuition, I'll be slacking at home, waiting for the second session to start. But had to leave early, cos I've another tuition session at home at 5pm. Zzz... spoils my studying day once again. At least being productive for 2hrs is better than nothing. Should have more of such studying sessions. See everybody mugging hard, motivates me to study hard too. haha..

Was told my n3ng and Jean that I had the Vincent look, cos I was mistaken by n3ng, and she kept refering me as Vincent.. Aiyo... I've many nicknames before, e.g. Otah, Tang Yuan, Zee , Alvin,. and a few closer fren, yuan, yuan yuan.. How can call me vincent... Hmph!!

Underestimated the time to go back, thought would only need 25mins back from sch, but the traffic condition at certain areas were bad.. and time was running short, I've no choice but to speed a bit to reach back in time.. And guess What.. I reached home 1min before the student came.. wahaha.. Phew. At least I wasn't late...

Random

Went back to VJ in the morning around 11am, studied till about 7pm. got super tired half way thru though.. Some how didn't had the feeling to chiong so much.. At least Meng helped me to solve most of my questions.

Came back, without dinner... Went for a short run around 10pm... just 8km to Bedok reservoir and back. Comfortable pace to warm up for the 20km tomorrow night. Have to force myself to train le.. Anyway, was wondering why running at night was bad.. but that's the coolest time of the day. perhaps, there's some things that I don't know about. 8 more weeks to go... 42.195km. Now mileage only half way there... need to jia you le.. far behind my schedule...

ARhz... headache.. very bad headache.. Have been having that for the past few days... Irritating.. can't even sleep well.

Was looking at Mindy's blog, and saw this test, so decided to take it again, wondering whether there's any change. And its exactly the same, though personally, I know and I feel that there's some differences in me.
Today is a highly ineffective day for studying... Went to sch for Bridge training, which turned out to be quite a waste of time, because, the things that was taught, I've already known it. Also, I didn't stay for long, a mere 2 hrs there, including playing of 2 boards, cos I've promised Lynal to play Snooker with him for a while, around 4pm. So was practically rushing from place to place.
Jean n N3ng asked me out to study, but couldn't make it.. sadz.. would have wanted to, cos I hadn't studied much for the day, but Cos of my mum... who was already nagging for quite some time that I've not been back for dinner, even when its sem break, I've decided to be good for a day to meet them for dinner. Went to Genki for some Sushi, and by the time it ended, it was already 7.45pm. A bit late to head down... So ya.. Studying plan spoilt. Haiz...
Nvm.. tomorrow will be whole day mugging in VJC, together with Dan and Meng, hopefully will settle all my doubts and questions for calculus by tomorrow, and compensate for the loss of time today.

Pool marathon

Had breakfast with Jean in the morning, at the Bugis Mac, followed by studying there... Which was later joined by KW. Was actually quite productive for a period of time till... it became a bit noisy, and a bit of chatting started rolling in.. nevertheless, finished whatever I planned to do for today.. So still Okay..

Played pool from 3-6pm, after that, for the pool buffet at Pool fusion 3. Supposed to be a training session, to train on my positioning. Focus was on follow thru and draw back.. Quite satisfied with my performance today. Though I didn't really pot well, it doesn't matter, cos I was playing with the positioning. So even if I didn't pot the ball, as long as the positioning was there, it was still fine.. haha... Next up, to improve on my accuracy le... Positioniong, almost there...

Had a quick dinner, before heading back for more "training". Actually I felt the afternoon session was more effective. Cos there were a bit too many ppl playing at that time, and its a bit too noisy for me to concentrate. Just play play here and there, sparring with ppl who i've not played with before, and I went to challenge Jia Bin.. Lolx.. That was exciting.. He's quite good, and I decided to play with him, hoping to learn something from him.. hehe... and I realised that I play well when I'm under slight stress and pressure to perform. With the best efforts coming, when I know, I can't afford to miss.

Total played around 6 hrs of pool today. Which is quite xiong. Haha.. Since I enjoy playing, it wasn't that bad. Or rather, it was good.. Guess there won't be anymore such pool marathon, until the end of yr, after the exams le... Its time to start mugging... I need a motivator to push me for it... Currently, quite sianz.. Zzz... hopefully my own motivation will kick in somehow... not much time left...

(AND this is bad... Just realised that its only 9weeks to SCSM. OH NO.... I haven't been clocking enough mileage... Die... last clocked was 15km, last week, before that, 21km, for SBR, a month ago. Haiz... how to squeeze out time for everything..)

Chicken Bean VS Chicken Wing

Had a hilarious incident in the afternoon. Went to cut my hair this afternoon and on command from my sis, went to Century square to help her buy some snacks. Went to B1 to buy the "Xiao Bei" Chicken wing, which is my sis's fav.
Upon reaching the stall.. I was browsing through the menu, hoping to find some combo set. Which I did, and I ordered the Set A. Which includes 2 chicken Wing, 1 fried mushroom, and a drink. Told the Aunty that I want the Chicken Wing set, And she keep replying me...
"Oh...Boy, you want to Chicken Bean is it ? "
Kept me thinking, Chicken bean? New product ? Made me look through the whole menu over and over again, trying to find if there's such a thing, " Chicken Bean " Still at a loss, what the hell Chicken Bean is, I decided to confirm my order once again.
" Aunty I want the Chicken WING set. "
This time round, pointing to her the Chicken WING on display..
" Tui Tui.. Chicken Bean , You want with rice ? "
Only then I confirmed that its just a mispronouncation from her.. Haha.. WTH. Anyway, I'm guilty of poor pronouncation at times too, so can't blame her for that. If not I'll be faulting myself too.. Wahaha...

Cycling makes me happy

Wohoo.. Went for cycling today.. cos there's no bridge training... Or rather.. there was supposed to be training, but I chose not to go, and due to the lack of ppl, it got cancelled. lolx..
It was a good choice actually. cos I felt really happy to be back cycling with them... Though I haven't fully recovered from my sat/sun ride of 75km, I still tried to catch up with them as much as possible. In the end, fatigue still beat me to it, and I could only finish it with an average of 30km/h, left stranded at the back alone, after serene draft them with her motorbike at 45km/h... WTF.... how to catch up... Should have been a recovery ride actually.. but everybody was just going so fast... what to do ? just follow lorh.. lolx..
Got bombarded by them, asking where I've been hiding, doing secret training is it .. haha... Its just that I've always have bridge training on tues night, that's why I can't make it down. After today's ride, I think the next ride with them would most prob be after my exams in dec le... That's a long 2 months of break.. Sadz... How I wish I could still join them every week. Just forgetting everything when riding... its such a carefree feeling.
4th day into recess week... I've almost caught up on calculus... Just that more practise needs to be done. Still quite blur about some proofing, need to find someone to help me clarify that.. Meng siong is too busy.. have to catch him some time this week.. if not next week's Calculus mid term test die.. After all these, still need to prepare for Biodiversity test.. Zzz.. What break is this... should just relabel it as catch up/ study week.

100th post milestone

This is the milestone for my humble little blog. It has come thus far, hitting its 100th post. Don't really know what I wanted to post today... So decided to recall why this blog was set up.

First post was on 16th April 07. To think back, this post is still a baby or perhaps in the infant stage... 5 months and 8 days old, or exactly, 162 days old. That makes it one post per 1.62 day. quite a high rate actually.

Honestly, prior to this, I wasn't interested in blogging at all.. But something happened... and i slogged into a depressed state.. Suddenly, there was no one to share my happiness/sorrows. Cos the person has chose to leave... left alone fending for myself. I search in vain for some avenue to relief myself. And I found this. Some where to pen down my thoughts, my feelings, my happiness, my memories.. It brought me a moment of relief, as I no longer needs to swallow down my feelings to myself, at least the com would share with me. And sometimes, when friends who cares, take a look at it.. A simple tag, or comment brightens up my day...

Now after many months, and I've woken up from that nightmare.. I've grown stronger and I guess I'm back on my feet again. It no longer serves as a place for me purely to express my emotional side, but now it serves as a place when I jot down my happiness, happenings, sadness and every little thing that makes/spoils my day.. It has become my diary.

For the past few months, my posts were generally emotionally charged. Only recently, that has changed. Thanks to all my friends that have been constantly standing by me, even just by reading it. To a few that has never posted anything/Tag, I don't know who you are, but thank you for reading as well..
