Went to catch "Money NO enough too.. " Another Jack Neo's production.. It's rather similiar to the previous few that he has produced. Playing on the Singapore politics, emotions, daily happenings. Was wondering how come the MDA didn't censor any part of the show, or even more extreme, restricted the movie.. There was quite a lot of things complaining about issues that has been on our minds. E.g. ERP, (Every road pay ), Coupon parking.. government sucking our money.. Singaporean, Talk no action, only complain complain. Etc..
Guess the main arguement that the show was trying to put across is the filial piety issue. How would we treat our parents when they are old. Who's going to take care of them? Are we going to push the responsibility ard? have been so selfish that we only think about ourselves and forgot that it is our parents that has given to us what we have today? well.. there wasn't any solutions provided in the show at all. It just triggers that thoughts in us. Honestly, I don't think there's any 100% correct ans to this. Everybody has their opinions and views on this. It depends on the situation at that point of time. Afterall, the impt thing is to appreciate that our parents, no matter what has been a supporting pillar for our lives in one way or another. We must treasure them.
