Thereafter, met shufang for lunch at Mellben seafood at Toa payoh.. We ordered the Chilli crab and a plate of fired Tang hun with Man tou. The crab was solid and sweet... nice.. but the paste was so-so only, not exactly fantastic, will try the butter creamy crab next time. =)
It was nice catching up with you today. =D
In the evening, met COT for dinner... Turn up today was 6/8, with weeping and mindy not around. It's being quite sometime since we last met up, so there was so much to share.. glad that hc managed to drop by in the end, was nice seeing you after sooooooo long man.. haha..
Had our dinner at Iluma, forgot the name of the place.. but it's one of the jap restaurant where you order using a pen one.. interesting innovation. The food here is generally okay, wasn't really satisfied with the sashimi salad that I ordered, the sashimi slices were a bit too small and nua. Compared to the one that I ate at Sushi Teh, this one -.-" oh well...
Shared a plate of sashimi with the dudes, Sword fish, Salmon, Maguro, Yellow Tail, Octopus and scallop
Fried gyoza was nice.. Think the fillings inside is quite nicely marinated.
After the dinner, we went to the "sky " floor of Iluma where there's a Pub " Seven " The place is quite nice for hanging out I guess, but that's only limited to before the live soccer matches begin. Ambience is comfy with 1 for 1 house pour and Carlsberg Mug ( using DBS card ). $5 per glass only.. cheap cheap.. So little ppl visit the place.. I don't think it'll last that long. GO there while it lasts!!!!
