Finally went to see the orthopedic today. Confirmed that it was my Tendon that was inflammed, that's why its causing the swell and pain for the past few weeks/months.
Undergone a session of physio-therapy, learnt a few exercises on how to relieve the pain, and stretch that tight tendon of mine. He helped me massage my thigh, ( supposedly to loosen my tight tendon, And it was in such pain that I almost screamed !! ) The physio session ended with a ultra scan thing. It releases electic impulse into the affected aread, ( supposedly to stimulate cell repair & growth. ).
But the funny thing is, I came out of the Physio treatment with MORE pain than I went in.. WTH... HAha.. Crapz.
Anyway, went to play pool with tuck today. Wohoo.. 2 months never touch the wooden stick liao. played both 8 and 9 ball, won both series 7-1, 7-1, Whee... Recalling the days which I played every week.. Such fun.. But well.. somethings there's no choice but to weigh the importance of other things.. and at least I'm seeing some results, telling me that I've made the right choice. Jia YOU .. Zhiyuan.. you can do it de... =)

Went for my 17th blood donation today. While in the donation centre, the nurse asked me whether I want to donate platelets instead. Apparently, they are in desperate needs for it today. But, I've been to Thailand for training, Anti-Malaria pill means I can't do that for 3 yrs.
Well, that said, I remembered donating platelets to my fren's dad who was diagnosed with leukaemia last june. It's weird isn't it ? 2 different set of criteria within the small island. Blood bank was calling for more regular donors, but they set stringent rules, preventing many ppl from doing so, ( if not turning ppl away ) Take for e.g. Full blood donation at Blood bank is 12 weeks waiting time. while SGH blood transfusion centre is 8 weeks. Understanding the fact that they want to be safe that the blood they take in are safe for patients to use, but overly cautious will only deprive themselves of willing donors.
Anyway, went to watch Death note . L change the world with lin. An interesting thriller/detective show.. Lin provided me with quick summaries of the previous 2, which helped in the understanding of the whole show too.. Haha.. Though I didn't watch the first 2 series, but there wasn't much of a relevance.

Discipline
Discipline means nothing to someone who obeys the rules, Only those who defys will face the punishment.
Learnt this statement while watching the Discovery channel. Title " Brat Academy "
Reflecting upon that, Its really true isn't it. If you are always following the " rules & laws" you will never need to know what sort of punishment will follow if you don't.
Talking about discipline will naturally be linked back to the Army days.. I think I've been a rather obedient soldier, following all the rules and regulations. I've only gotten ONE extra duty, cos I bought a stupid magazine( rifle mag) to the range. and that's the only guard duty I've ever done so. Some how I get to escape all the regimental duties, as there will always be some ppl who do stupid things to get Extras. And with all the appointments I've got, it served as a " hu shen fu ". Safely went past the trainee days. Upon commissioning, there was Duty Officer ( D.O ) to do. I've only done it 12 times i think. one for each month I'm there. Ord-ied safely without any extras too. Phew!~
When chatting with some frens on doing guard duty and D.O, they always got things to share, but I've got no exp in that area. And they commented that I've lost out on that. Huh?!? Its alright man.. I don't need that kind of exp. I rather spend my time doing other things..
Haiz.. recently, got a lot of call up by Mindef, regarding all the mannings and in-camp training. its about time to dig out my NO.4 uniform and kiwi my boots le. Old man needs to get back to camp liao. its just irritating that its right inbetween my 3months break, how to find job like that.. arhz..
Comparing myself to before, I think my level of discipline has dipped a lot. Need to pull myself out and reinstate myself to the level I had before I commissioned. I don't think I'm as hardworking and self-controlled as before le. someone pls push me..

Aviation Show
Went to the Aviation show this morning.. enjoyed the spectacular aerobatics display by the black knights and the other respective pilots.. The wait at the Pasir Ris MRT was horrible. Really long queue.. Waited for nearly 45mins to catch the bus.
When we reached there, we were just in time for the Aerobatics show... It started within seconds after we found a spot to view the show. The ear drum breaking sound created by the engine of the Fighter jets were deafening. Could feel the vibrations in the air, when it was flying really low and close to us... The sun was glaring, and I kinda regretted not wearing sunglasses today, how much better it would feel, if I had wore it. nvm.. though it wasn't exceptionally hot, but the dry air, incorporated with the direct sun, I'm like a lobster now. Red...
Other than the aerobatics display, there were still some static displays. This type of thing, just once a blue moon go see see can liao. no need spend so much $ to go in there and squeeze with the crowd.
The queue after the show was REALLY horrible. We were waiting for Taxi de. Never mind abt the extra $8 surcharge, we just wanted to get to TM to catch our movie in time. but then, the queue didn't move at all, even after 15mins. So we made our way into the bus queue, and that didn't help much either. it was a 1.5hrs wait. When we finally boarded the bus, the bus was not full lar.. Ppl at the front, just simply refuse to board it cos they got no seat, and they want to wait for the next one. WTF!!! SINGAPOREANS are.. horrigible. ARhz... in the end, entered the cinema 15mins late...
Overnight MJ sesion.
Played tong xiao ma jiang last night, with lin and her JC class ppl. an interesting bunch of ppl, who talk are full of nonsense, but well, that's what keeps ppl entertained. haha.. was quite bemused by what they could come up with actually, and they are really very " pei he " Linking back to my own class, it pales in comparison. Definitely, there isn't as much fun, but surely, there were moments of joy too.
Can't help but believe that it is really quite " xie men" when I play mj. Tried for 13 yao, for 2 rounds, one with 12 tiles, waiting for " fa" and " dong " and the second time, I was waiting for the last tile " 9 bamboo " . So close. Calling for the tile liao, but got intercepted. As expected, after I try for it, I usually don't game much after that. oh well, it's just the thrill and excitement you get while waiting for such combinations, plus they were not playing $$, all the more it gives me reason to do so..

Accident at Biz
Had a scare for a moment while attending the MKT lecture at Biz LT 17 around 2pm. Just when the lecturer was about to begin the lesson, a loud crashing sound was heard, and it seems like something has just crashed. Guessing that it might have been an accident outside the LT, The lecturer just commented : " I think it may have been an accident. anyway, lets begin our lessons for today ... " How ignorant can we be.. lolx..
Upon ending of the lecture, des and me walked to the bus stop, only to realise that the bus stop was cordoned off, and we could see that several trees had snapped and upon closer look, a green green metal thing could be spotted. Still wondering what has happened, and could have caused such a big commotion that police's " keep out " tape was being used. Then we saw a huge chunk of metal lying on the slope, just beside the LT and the bus stop, where there was a construction going on. Now then we realise what has happened.. the CRANE HAS COLLAPSED! a 60 tonne Crane came crashing down, causing a thunderous noise when it hit the ground. It was just metres away from the LT that I was having lecture in, and seriously, couldn't imagine what would happen if it had crashed onto the LT. how many ppl would have injured/killed. 3 workers were killed in this horrifying accident.

Being a Curious passer-by, I alighted from the shuttle bus, and walked towards the accident scene from another angle, Could see clearly what has happened, and the whole lot of reports and media ppl interviewing and giving reports on the situation. Snapped a shot of it.
