Went to the Aviation show this morning.. enjoyed the spectacular aerobatics display by the black knights and the other respective pilots.. The wait at the Pasir Ris MRT was horrible. Really long queue.. Waited for nearly 45mins to catch the bus.
When we reached there, we were just in time for the Aerobatics show... It started within seconds after we found a spot to view the show. The ear drum breaking sound created by the engine of the Fighter jets were deafening. Could feel the vibrations in the air, when it was flying really low and close to us... The sun was glaring, and I kinda regretted not wearing sunglasses today, how much better it would feel, if I had wore it. nvm.. though it wasn't exceptionally hot, but the dry air, incorporated with the direct sun, I'm like a lobster now. Red...
Other than the aerobatics display, there were still some static displays. This type of thing, just once a blue moon go see see can liao. no need spend so much $ to go in there and squeeze with the crowd.
The queue after the show was REALLY horrible. We were waiting for Taxi de. Never mind abt the extra $8 surcharge, we just wanted to get to TM to catch our movie in time. but then, the queue didn't move at all, even after 15mins. So we made our way into the bus queue, and that didn't help much either. it was a 1.5hrs wait. When we finally boarded the bus, the bus was not full lar.. Ppl at the front, just simply refuse to board it cos they got no seat, and they want to wait for the next one. WTF!!! SINGAPOREANS are.. horrigible. ARhz... in the end, entered the cinema 15mins late...
