Accident at Biz

Had a scare for a moment while attending the MKT lecture at Biz LT 17 around 2pm. Just when the lecturer was about to begin the lesson, a loud crashing sound was heard, and it seems like something has just crashed. Guessing that it might have been an accident outside the LT, The lecturer just commented : " I think it may have been an accident. anyway, lets begin our lessons for today ... " How ignorant can we be.. lolx..

Upon ending of the lecture, des and me walked to the bus stop, only to realise that the bus stop was cordoned off, and we could see that several trees had snapped and upon closer look, a green green metal thing could be spotted. Still wondering what has happened, and could have caused such a big commotion that police's " keep out " tape was being used. Then we saw a huge chunk of metal lying on the slope, just beside the LT and the bus stop, where there was a construction going on. Now then we realise what has happened.. the CRANE HAS COLLAPSED! a 60 tonne Crane came crashing down, causing a thunderous noise when it hit the ground. It was just metres away from the LT that I was having lecture in, and seriously, couldn't imagine what would happen if it had crashed onto the LT. how many ppl would have injured/killed. 3 workers were killed in this horrifying accident.


Being a Curious passer-by, I alighted from the shuttle bus, and walked towards the accident scene from another angle, Could see clearly what has happened, and the whole lot of reports and media ppl interviewing and giving reports on the situation. Snapped a shot of it.
