Snails..

Saw this snail while walking to my student's place this afternoon. Not exactly very fantastic to see an african giant snail. But it's just the unusual high no. of them, that floods our city. An exotic species that has invaded our lands.. Ever wonder how come one such small creature, such as a snail can thrive? it moves like ever so slowly, with a so brittle shell on its back. and it nibbles on tiny little grass. How come still can grow till so big, and survive so well.
